Another Soccer Weekend...Chinook Cup

Last weekend we headed to Portland for another weekend of soccer. This time it was Cade and Gabrielle playing in the Chinook Cup. It was especially fun because Marilyn, Erika and Naomi joined us and we stayed with Amber and Tony in Portland. Cade and Gabrielle had so many fans at their games as James and Jenn were also there for Selene, plus Dad and Kathleen as well as Auntie Cindy came to watch some games. Cade and Elle had as many as 15 people watching some of their games!

Gabrielle's U10 Athletica team made it to the finals again this weekend (out of 24 teams) losing again to THUSC 2-1, this time in penalty kicks. Gabrielle played central defender in all of her games and rarely was subbed out; she worked so hard! Cade's U12 Boca team played three of the toughest teams in Oregon, losing 1-2, 2-3 and tying 2-2. Cade scored a great goal, earned his team a penalty kick and showed us some great moves. His team continues to improve; Cade would love more wins but we enjoyed watching some really great games! They both were a lot of fun to watch!
