Braces Off!

Cade and Gabrielle both got their braces off in the past month. Gabrielle had them on for only ten months while Cade had them on for just shy of two years. Both report that it feels SO good to have them off though they are not big fans of the retainers they now have to wear!

Gabrielle: March 2013/Jan 2014

 Cade: February 2012/February 2014

Nev & Elle in the Snow

Genevieve and Gabrielle both have LOVED the snow! Nev has gone out 3-4 times a day, each time with a new outfit she picks out and explores, follows our dog, Nelly, around or plays with whoever is outside (either one of her siblings, cousins or me but half the time she's just out on her own). Gabrielle has loved being at her cousins, taking walks to the forest, taking pictures and also playing with Genevieve. Here a few shots from my ventures out with my girls.

Soccer in the Snow

It's been nice to see Cade's passion for soccer reignite as he is finally injury free after almost three years of back and knee pain. He's been playing really well, having lots of fun and wanting to play all the time. He was bummed his practice was canceled last night and even more bummed his games have been canceled this weekend but he was out playing in the snow for at least an hour both yesterday afternoon and today. I was so glad I brought out my good camera for lots of pictures today.

Genevieve's First Ballet Class

Genevieve had been begging to do a ballet class for months and we finally signed her up for a once a week class for six months at Oregon Ballet Academy with her friends, Kyra, Libby and Sophie. She was SOOO excited for her first class. It was fun shopping for her new black leotard, pink tights and pink leather shoes as required by the academy. She also has to wear her hair in a bun which is adorable! Genevieve listened very well in her first class and took it all very seriously. After the first class Genevieve said it was fun but she was a little disappointed they didn't do more 'real' dancing and that they played more games than she expected (very similar to her soccer experience) but she has been excited to go to her class each week and she seems to really enjoy it.

Ready for her first class

 Driving there and so excited!
