Davida's First Soccer Game

My sister Marilyn and niece Jackie are here visiting and we were so excited when Marcus came to his indoor game with Davida! It meant we got to hold her while watching our brothers and nephew play soccer. Davida is so precious and sweet. What a treat to see her! We also got to see baby Tucker yesterday which was so much fun (pictures to come soon...from Amber's camera)!

Dinner with Friends

I don't take my camera (or phone) out enough when we go to dinner with friends but last week I did and was glad. Here we are celebrating my dear and long-time friend Julie's birthday. We, along with our hubbies, had a great time chatting the evening away at the Oregon Electric Station.

Nev Nev

Here are pictures of Nev I've taken over the past month or so. I tried to capture her doing the things she does at home on regular days while her siblings are at school. Most weekdays, she joins me at Crossfit for my 8:30 workout, then we head home and play, visit with people who come in the house related to my work (mostly my brothers and my dad :) and I try to get a little work done through it all! I think I got most of her favorite activities covered in these pics!

Genevieve has been loving dressing up and changing often; she recently got a bag of clothes from Morgan (Melissa's daughter) and absolutely loved the ballet outfits. This is so Nev, dressed up and climbing!

Usually when Nev watches a show, it is downstairs in our family room and she dances, sings and talks to the TV!

Visit with Sweet LittleTucker

On January 2nd, Gabrielle and I got to spend the afternoon with my new nephew Tucker Joseph! We also got to enjoy the Duck's Rose Bowl victory with Amber, Tony, Duane and Mary. What a perfect day! Tucker was very content, loving sleeping on his own and in our arms. I loved holding him and wish I could see him more. What a perfect little boy! Nice work Duane and Mary!

Visiting Davida

Gabrielle and I got to visit Davida, Marcus and Melissa at OHSU on Monday. It was really great to see them all and especially to see them well and happy. Davida is a doll and a trooper. She seems to very content despite all the poking and prodding required. Here are a couple pictures from my visit and then a couple more from Amber's visit the day before...

She opened her eyes a little bit for Gabrielle and me but Amber captured her so well here checking everything out :)

Her hand is looking so much better! Still no movement but there is a lot of swelling and healing still going on so there's lots of hope she will recover fully.

Like Father Like Son?

Cade was very excited about the hats and sunglasses he and Pascal bought at their trip to the mall this weekend. I have to admit I wasn't expecting he'd spend 35 of his hard-earned dollars on these...

But then I remembered back to his dad at 16 when I met him and I shouldn't be surprised!

Chad was making some fun of Cade's ensemble and Cade went along with it and they both proceeded to 'play' a little guitar together. It was quite entertaining!

This Could Be Fun...

Amber told me about Instagram today. It's a quick photo editing app for iphones. And man is it fun! I went through pictures that were on my iphone that weren't great quality, Instagrammed them and now I want to share them! I have a feeling I'll be taking lots more pics on my iphone now!
