Back to School Again

Will I ever get used to how fast kids grow up!? Cade started high school at Marist this week, exactly 30 years after I started at Marist. It is just crazy to think I started high school THIRTY years ago! Meanwhile, Gabrielle is almost there too; she entered 8th grade at St. Paul. Willem is now in the upper wing and in 5th grade and Genevieve started all-day kindergarten! Nev was the only one really excited for school to start though she teared up many times when she would talk about the fact that Cade would no longer be at St. Paul. When she talked about Elle eventually leaving for college, she just said, "Don't talk about that, it will make me cry," as she wiped tears from her eyes! Such a sweet little sis who obviously loves her big siblings! Everyone reported having a good first day. I'm just hoping that continues the next nine months!

Some pics of Cade in his soccer jersey. He's number 14 like his dad was in football at Marist and like his cousin and uncles were in soccer at Marist.

  

 

Cade and cousin Pascal played each other to a 1-1 tie in a jamboree game last week. They both started at center forward. 
It was awesome seeing them both play varisty for their high school teams. Cade almost scored, hitting the crossbar on a nice shot.
