Tomorrow, Chad's Dad, Gene, will undergo a tough surgery in hopes of relieving the significant pain he is experiencing as a result of spinal stenosis. We have been visiting him all week in the hospital. Despite his obvious pain, he always wants to hold or snuggle with Genevieve and give hugs to his grandkids. They really love their grandpa who is such a kind, generous and wise man and a fantastic dad, grandpa and father in-law.

We will be thinking of and praying for Gene too. He's such a great guy and so loved.
