Our summer can pretty much be summed up in two words: cousins and soccer! Almost all of our weekends are spent at soccer tournaments and most weekdays our kids spent at least part of the day with at least one of their cousins. And, often, soccer and cousins intertwine as well as our kids play on teams with their cousins, train with their cousins and just play around with a soccer ball with their cousins. Cade has been loving spending lots of time with his big cousins, Roman and Daniel, at their house, our house and working on the dairy. And, Cade also enjoys his time with Pascal many weekends when they are at the same soccer tournament and get to hang out at the hotel together. Elle gets to see Meleesa or Athena most days whether it be hanging at each others' houses or playing soccer or training together. Willem loves to tag along with Cade whenever he can to visit his cousins and it's been fun to see him and Carsten finally playing together and really enjoying each other at family get-togethers. Nev is so at home with all her cousins too and treats them all like her siblings! We are so lucky to have lots of extra cousins around this summer as Leah, Jackie, Naomi, Daniel and Jonathan have all spent time here (Daniel is staying to go to college here...hopefully that means extra visits from his mom, my sis!). And, it is always a big treat when Amber and Tony come over with Jacoby and Nia as they did this past week. We all love it too when Davida stops by with Marcus...I need some pictures of her! We just need to see little Tucker soon and our summer will be complete :). Here are just a few pictures of cousin time this summer (a big soccer post to come soon!)...

Nev, Elle, Nia, Naomi, Leah, Jacoby and Mariah at the park
Roman, Daniel, Jackie, Leah
Selene, Meleesa, Naomi, Willem and Mariah
Cade and Jonathan had a great time together when Jono was here
Nev loves her cousin Antonia. It was fun to see them play a lot together when Amber visited this past week. It was the first time they really played for an extended time together.

What a great summer. So glad our kids all love and enjoy each other - that is sure what we all hoped and prayed for. Mom would have loved it too.
We L.O.V.E cousins sooo much too!! Wish we could see them even more, but visits are then extra special. It's so fun having the Loftsgards visit so much this summer too :))
