The Birthday Girl!

Today we spent much of the afternoon preparing for Genevieve's birthday which is tomorrow! We got balloons, made cookies and cakes and took a few pictures of our soon to be three year old. Nev, Elle and I had a great time together! So hard to believe our baby will be THREE tomorrow! Genevieve is so very excited about her birthday finally being here. She asked that we get party hats (and wants everyone to wear them!) and she talks about blowing out candles, singing happy birthday and wishing for a Dora kitchen set and Dora books! I love this age and the pure joy of birthdays. I think I am just as excited for Genevieve's birthday and gifts as she is!

Happy Birthday Sweet Genevieve! We Love You So Very Much!

Nev was SOOO excited when we got the balloons, especially the Dora balloon!

I love how Nev's eye color is captured so well here

Practicing putting up three fingers!

Genevieve loves to help bake!

Of-course, what child wouldn't love it when they get to lick the pan when you're done!?

Our beautiful girls with our goodies!

Genevieve really wanted a Dora cake, so we did the best we could! She LOVED the Dora and Boots cookies I made.

Oh what a fun post!! I'm soooo excited for Nev to be THREE as well. Although, I must agree that the time has just flown by. I agree with Marilyn that the picture of Nev practicing her three fingers is just adorable! Also love the one of her sitting with the Dora balloon in the picture :) What an awesome job on the Dora and Boots cookies!! Impressive! Have fun at the party... I'm super sad to miss it :( xoxox to Nev-Nev!
