I love New Year's Eve at my Dad and Kathleen's house. It is one of my favorite nights of the year. Tons of my extended family as well as friends gathered together starting around 3:00 pm and the party ended (a little early this year) around 2:00 am. The kids ran around outside (I'm not quite sure what they did!), played video games, joined us in some of our games, played pool and did a little dance number for us! The grown-ups played poker, pinnacle, 'The Dice' game, Scattegories and more. Then, at midnight, the kids banged on pots and pans just like I did as a kid. We also all ate a ton of great food all afternoon and evening. I love the food, the games, chatting with everyone and watching the kids enjoy it all too. Genevieve made it to midnight as did all the kids (except 8 month old Antonia). We were joined this year for the first time by the O'Connor family and we hope they will be back! Happy 2011! I am excited to see what this year has in store for us!
I'm glad that we took NYE pictures after all... thx for picking up the camera! I love seeing what we do separately to the same pictures. I like your crop of J & Athena banging pans. And, the look Will is giving Carsten is classic. Oh cousins!
you guys are getting so good at collages! I love the whole feel of them - they really give a great snapshot of the evening. Good job! Happy New Year too :-)
Welcome! We, Chad and Leticia, have been married 20 years and have four awesome kids ~ Cade (15.5), Gabrielle (14), Willem (11.5) and Genevieve (6). We hope you enjoy this glimpse into our busy, fun, sports-filled and blessed lives. We intend for this to serve as our family scrapbook and we hope you enjoy following along!
