Family Birthday Party for Nev and Selene!

We had a blast at Genevieve and cousin Selene's early family birthday party on Saturday! Nev who will officially turn FIVE on Wednesday was so excited for the party all week. It was just so much fun planning with her and talking to her about it with all her excitement. She picked out a Barbie cake for the party (just like her friend Libby's birthday cake :) as well as princess plates and napkins. Nev was super excited about the balloons, streamers and other decorations we put up for her. I knew it would be hard for her to wait to open gifts, so we bought a gingerbread house for her to decorate with her cousins while the adults ate dinner and watched the Duck basketball game. We also had a pinata for her (and Selene) as well which Nev was very excited about and loved! When it finally came time for singing happy birthday and for cake, it was craziness as usual with all her cousins and siblings around (the pictures of the craziness crack me up)! Nev's favorite time of the party came at the end when she got to open up her gifts! We were proud of her that she was excited for all her gifts and told everyone thank you and gave great hugs. She says her favorite present is her dog veterinary kit but she also really loves the 'Frozen' characters her aunts and uncles gave her. She also loves the Barbies, Ariel light-up piggy bank, princess activity book and more! We just love this little girl so much and loved seeing her so happy and excited all evening at her party!
