We had another fun, game-filled, loud and family & friend-full New Year's Eve at Opa and Kathleen's house. Amber and I arrived at about 5:00 pm to prepare the food and festivities. Friends and family started arriving soon after. We were so lucky Kathleen took on the Dutch tradition of making ollie bollen this year and they were amazingly yummy! There was a Texas Hold 'Em table going most of the night. And, a large group of us kids and adults had a ton of fun playing 'Catch Phrase' for a couple hours. The kids also played some Wii Dance downstairs. There was, of-course, also sports going on the TV most of the evening. It was so nice Kendall, Jake and kids joined us as well as Olaf & Korrina and kids plus Keith, Sheri, Lucia, Brandy and Kennedy. The older kids were there early in the evening but many left for parties and gatherings in town around 10 pm, it'll be strange when our kids start doing that! The evening concluded with pot and pan banging at the strike of midnight. After cleaning up, we called it a night at around 1:30 am, a little earlier than some years but it was perfect by me :) Happy 2014 to all!
Oh man, it WILL be strange when it's our kids who leave before midnight to be with friends. Well in the meantime, I had fun and our kids too! I love these pictures even more on the blog than on my computer. Memories, memories :))
Welcome! We, Chad and Leticia, have been married 20 years and have four awesome kids ~ Cade (15.5), Gabrielle (14), Willem (11.5) and Genevieve (6). We hope you enjoy this glimpse into our busy, fun, sports-filled and blessed lives. We intend for this to serve as our family scrapbook and we hope you enjoy following along!

Love this too! Nev as ring leader in the kitchen is adorable! Some great shots of the cousins together too.
